This romantic comedy by the author of “Same Time, Next Year” explores the clash of cultures when Libby Daniels, a brash New York producer, tries to get elusive British mystery author Giles St. James to grant her the rights to make his books into movies. Libby tracks down the eccentric writer only to discover that he loathes Americans as much as she dislikes the British. Despite the tension, romance blossoms until Libby's twenty-something assistant, Daisy, causes a huge misunderstanding, even though Giles's seventy year old assistant, Fred, tries his best to protect his boss.

Libby Daniels is a quintessential New Yorker in her 50s or early 60s. Confident and abrasive on the surface, she's much more vulnerable and endearing deep down. Giles St. James is a reclusive English writer in his 50s or early 60s, and is rumpled, eccentric, extremely private and shy.

Daisy Holiday, Libby's assistant, is in her twenties and is from the American south. She brings enthusiasm and wide-eyed optimism. Fred Craddock, Giles' assistant, is a likable Londoner blessed with a natural wit and a cheerful attitude. His spry movements make him seem younger than his 70 years.

Contact director Mark Jordan at 419-522-2883 for further information.
