The 6th annual Great Pumpkin Glow at Kingwood Center Gardens will be held on October 15th from 5-10pm, and October 16th from 5-9pm!

This year offers even more walking paths in our beautiful gardens lined with even more glowing pumpkins, and gourds.  

This years annual Prairie Peddler Festival will be held on September 24th 25th and October 1st and 2nd. 

Join for great food, handmade crafts, and unique gifts! This one-of-a-kind festival features 200 booths from select vendors, so you can shake the very hands that created each item:
 

MANSFIELD, OH: As part of the Ohio History Connection Ohio Open Doors Tour a one mile preservation walk will be held at the Oak Hill Cottage on September 17th, 2016.

The walk will begin at the Oak Hill Cottage Carriage House at 2:30 featuring the historic preservation involvement of the Richland County Historical Society at the Cottage and surrounding neighborhood. 

The village of Crestline, Ohio will host its 43rd annual Crestline Harvest Festival at Seltzer Park in starting Friday, September 16th.

With a family festival atmosphere and things to do for the kids the stage will feature live local talent from across the area.  

LOUDONVILLE, OH:  Experience the Great Mohican Pow-Wow September 16  - 18 at the Mohican Reservation Campgrounds

Pow-Wow time is the Native American people's way of meeting together, to join in dancing, singing, visiting, renewing old friendships and making new ones.

This is a time to renew thought of the old ways and to preserve a rich heritage.

There are several different stories of how the Pow-Wow was started. Some believe that the war dance societies of the Ponca and other Southern Plains tribes were the origin of the Pow-Wow. Another belief is that when the Native Americans were forced onto reservations the government also forced them to have dances for the public to come and see. Before each dance they were led through the town in a parade, which is the beginning of the Grand Entry.

Mansfield, Ohio: Colonial living history day will be held at South Park in Mansfield on September 10th, 2016.  The event will be hosted by Richland Early American Center for History featuring early life in the 18th century.

Attendees will learn about Blacksmithing, woodworking, colonial cooking and glass work.

The 21st Annual Heart of the City Cruise In will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016!

 
Registration will begin at 8:00am in Central Park. This family friendly event will include, live entertainment, 50/50 drawings, door prizes and vendor's ally.
