Here in Richland and Ashland county the following is a traditional harvest schedule for the various fruits and vegetables that are grown locally and can be a good guide to what to expect.

While I realize wild turkeys are not a fruit nor vegetable they are an Ohio staple and there are many free range turkey farms in the area that offer fresh locally raised turkeys for the holidays.
